The Djinn genie is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII. It is a green-skinned genie riding atop a pink cloud that is summoned by a magic lantern.
Characteristics
Gruesome green-skinned spirits that fly into fights on a poisonous pink cloud, ready to slice their opponents into ribbons by calling upon razor-sharp winds and casting the wicked Kaswoosh spell. They also use the awesome power of the air for protection, providing a barrier against spells with Backdraft. Their tempestuous nature makes them one of the few monsters completely immune to Zap spells.
