The Floating Island is a mode of transportation in Dragon Quest VI. It is acquired in the phantom world shortly after visiting Calcado. It is the counterpart to the ship which is used in the real world.
Jamiras' Castle
The island serves as the method of transporting townspeople to Jamiras' Castle. After Jamiras defeat, the heroes are given the island to be used as transportation.
