Template:MonsterInfo File:Metlrider.gif The metal slime knight (originally MetlRider / Metal Rider due to display constraints) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest V, it is a metallic variant of the slime knight monster.

Characteristics

Metal slime knights look just like slime knights beyond color changes. One could say that the color of the knight and the slime have been switched around, with the slime being gray and the knight being green.

Although they are indicated as being metal monsters, metal slime knights are more metal in name than anything else. They lack the monstrous defenses and resistances of typical metal monsters, and while they normally give a large amount of experience it is no way near as much as that given by other metal monsters.
