Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit | edit source]
The bluffs are the final section of the game's training area, being a ridge line of rough stones lining a thin waterfall which flows through an enormous, hollow rock spiral that connects to Gradely Grasslands. The monsters that inhabit this area aren't as varied as those found in the rest of Terrestria, but the bluffs are the the first area where players can wrangle komodos to get a headstart on raising the dragon family beyond the humble vegandragora.
Seasonal Changes[edit | edit source]
- Spring: None
- Summer: Vines found on the side of small cliffs grow, allowing the player to clime up to find treasure and monsters usually out of reach.
- Autumn: Piles of leaves appear across the map, containing either items when the player walks into them or monsters that will pop out and chase the player.
- Winter: Freezes the waterfall solid, allowing players to slip across to access a burrow shared by antguzzlers and mischievous moles where a treasure chest containing three seeds of life is hidden.
