The Wasteband (Originally Cursed belt and Devil belt) is an item in Dragon Quest.

N/A	180 gold	When equipped, it curses the wearer, making him sometimes not able to move. When wearing this, the the guards will forbid the Hero from entering Tantegel Castle, while King Lorik will immediately demand him to leave after being revived. Upon equipping it, the only way to remove the belt is to visit the old man in Brecconary.
