The Striking sabrecat is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line.

When it first debuted, it was a stronger, pink-furred variant of the Sabrecat, but in some spinoff games it became a palette swap of the Great sabrecat instead.

Characteristics

The original Striking sabrecat resembles the real-world smilodons of the Pleistocene era with pink fur and fearsome solid yellow eyes.
