Personal Grudge stuns the monster that killed the possessor for one turn and reduces it's stats as well, taking effect immedeately. Attack is reduced by 50% for 2~5 turns and agility, defence, and wisdom are reduced by 40% for 4~7 turns. Both effects ignore stun and debilitation immunity, and if the monster that killed the possessor is slain itself then the trait's effects are applied to a random enemy.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit | edit source]

Personal Grudge stuns the monster that killed the possessor for one turn and reduces it's stats as well, taking effect immediately. Attack is reduced by 50% for 2~5 turns and agility, defence, and wisdom are reduced by 80% for 4~7 turns. Both effects ignore stun and debilitation immunity and if the monster that killed the possessor is slain itself in the same turn, such as through the Spiky Skin trait or poison, then the trait's effects are applied to a random enemy.

  • As of the version 1.0.5 update patch Personal Grudge now only triggers once per battle no matter how many times the possessing monster is revived and killed.
