Magic marionettes are puppets that have come to life after being abandoned by their owners. They rip magic points right from their enemies with their weird dances. The colouration of the puppets has changed many times over the years, from teal in their original appearance in II to brown in V, then grey in their original appearance in VI before finally settling on dark red in VII and most modern appearances. In later games, they gained the ability to split their bodies into pieces to rain down and strike their opponents.
