The Dancer's costume has a Defence bonus of +8 and is part of Maya's initial equipment. In the original NES version, it could be equipped by both Maya and Alena. However, in remake versions of the game, Alena can no longer equip it, while Meena gains the ability to do so. It can be purchased for 400 gold in Femiscyra and sold for 300 gold. In the manga and the 1991 anime series, the dancer's costume makes an appearance as one of the many outfits that Leona tries on at Bengarna's department store before she eventually settles on a set of wayfarer's clothes.
