The Crème caraslime is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, introduced in the Nintendo 3DS remake of Dragon Quest VIII.

It is a giant slime with the appearance of a caramel pudding with whipped cream and a cherry on its head.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Crème caraslimes are the king slime counterpart of the Flan slimes. This slime, as its name suggests, is not made by the same jelly goop as the other Slimes, but is instead suspected to be made of vanilla pudding with caramel at the top of the Slime's head. To complete the sweet aspect of this Slime, it also has a whipped cream topping with a candied cherry on it.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit | edit source]

A crème caraslime will appear south of Farebury along the road only after thirty Slimes have been defeated. At the beginning of the game, it is recommended to avoid facing it in combat as it is stronger than most monsters in the region. If it lands a Desperate attack, it will likely knock out a character in a single blow. Taking a photo of the Crème caraslime is the objective of Quest #020: Crème de la Crème of Cameron's Codex.
