The Claws Célèbre is an aquatic crustacean monster that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest VII. Its name is a play on the phrase "cause célèbre".

Great clawed crustaceans with that crawl across the bottom of the sea, just looking for the bustle and tussle of a fight. Their main bodies and large claws are a bright shade of ocean blue with a light purple underbelly, black eye stalks and limbs, and a yellow face in the center of their body.
