It is one of the most isolated towns in the game, situated in a deep valley accessible only through rivers.
Slewse provides access to a watergate which must be opened in order to visit the [[Tower of the Moon]]. The water gate is hidden in the northwest corner of the village and can only be opened using the [[Floodgate key]].


[[Don Calico]] also lives in Slewse and can make [[Flowing dress]] if given the Celestial skein and Subtle Shuttle. This piece of equipment is the de facto best for the [[Princess of Moonbrooke]].
