The Überkilling machine is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VI. It is a chrome-plated variant of the overkilling machine.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
These metallic menaces mash at opponents with massive maces and slice with meticulously sharpened sabers and are even armed with a long wiry whipping tail that ends in a crossbow that helps it to crush enemies. They possess a single unblinking robotic eye in the middle of their intimidating, intricately designed robust chassis, with serrated spikes jutting out keep any adventurers from getting to close. They're often known to guard great treasures, proving to be a gamble to battle even for seasoned sneaky treasure sniffing thieves. Their devastating attacks deal massive damage, especially as they act multiple times in a turn and can use deadly skills such as Metal Slash and Dragon Slash.
