Crafty Zapper is a monster trait that allows the possessor to ignore 10% of an enemy's resistance to the Lightning element.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit | edit source]
Crafty Zapper voids 10% of the target's resistance to Lightning, regardless of whether the damage is caused by a spell, breath attack, elemental attack, or physical attack. It is not innately possessed by any monster but can be added to the list of traits by equipping the rubber armband or rubber belt, which are dropped by wyrtoises and bambooligans respectively. The trait combines with the effects of Ultra Crafty Zapper to ignore 60% of the target's resistance.
The effects of this trait can be nullified if the target has the Zap Ward or Ultra Zap Ward traits.
