The Kingfuchsia is a beginner monster vocation in Dragon Quest VII.
Description[edit | edit source]
The Kingfuchsia is a cross between a tropical bird and a flowering plant. This vocation offers a slight boost in Wisdom, moderate boosts in Agility and Max MP, moderate drops in strength and Max HP, and a severe drop in Resilience. Mastering the vocation grants a character a weak resistance to Woosh spells, and a reliable resistance to all ailments except for Sap and Drain Magic. Mastering the vocation is one of the steps to becoming a Dingbat or a Gripevine.
Monster Heart[edit | edit source]
In order to become a Kingfuchsia, a character must have a heart in their inventory and go to Alltrades Abbey to change their vocation. A Kingfuchsia heart can be found in the Mountaintop Tunnel in the past or by Kingfuchsias at Burnmont in Emberdale and Grotta del Sigillo in L'Arca in the past. They have a 1⁄16 chance of dropping one, which lowers to a rate of 1⁄64 from the second onward.
- In the Nintendo 3DS version, it is easier to obtain a Kingfuchsia heart by creating a custom Traveller's Tablet with a Kingfuchsia as one of the monsters.
