The Gnucifer is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Big gruesome green-skinned beasts with sharp hooked horns and humongous hooves with which to stomp and squash adversaries. A frightening sight in battle, they tower over opponents to the point where they cannot even see the tops of the terrifying monsters head. They not only bring their brute strength to battle, but also a mastery of some magic, capable of summoning surging winds with Swoosh and deadly destructive blasts with Boom.
