The Vulgarian is a monster that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest VII. They are savage axe-wielding warriors draped in animal furs.

Vulgarians are troll-like monsters with short and slim bodies. Their skin is pale blue and have a big mouth with salmon lips and big black eyes. On their heads, they wear the pelts of animals that have been previously hunted by them and they have cloth wrapped around their feet. Vulgarians also wear a little kilt made of tundra herbs, along with herbs tied on their wrists and ankles.
