It is made of blue metal with a knight's face guard bearing the emblem of the [[Ramia|legendary phoenix Herself]], horns that vary in color depending on the game, and a scarlet ponytail. In addition to it's incredible durability, the helmet also protects the wearer's mind from status ailments.
Though never outright stated, it is strongly implied that this is the modern name of the late [[Ortega's helmet]]—how the latter helm acquired the accouterments and coloration of Erdrick's helm is left to the player's imagination.
