	The helm is obtained by giving the [[Zenithium]] ore to the [[dwarf]] who travelled alongside [[Ortega]] years prior to the events of the game. The auroral helm has appeared in illustrations of [[Erdrick's armour]] as early as 1987 and appeared in games under the name of [[Erdrick's helm]], but no version of the helm would appear in any iteration of the third game game until the HD-2D remake of ''Dragon Quest III'' in 2024. It's appearance within said title and the method of obtaining it confirm the longstanding fan theory that [[Ortega's helm]] was incorporated into the legendary armour set after the events of the game.
