'''Zammeister''' is a recurring trait in the [[Dragon Quest Monsters (series)|''Monsters'']] series that increases the power of the [[Zam]] family of spells and other darkness-themed abilities while also cutting the MP cost of said techniques considerably. The exact power increase varies between games and it should be noted that mesiter does not penetrate an enemy's elemental resistance—that is reserved for the [[Crafty Zammer]] and [[Ultra Crafty Zammer]] traits.

The [[ace of spades]], [[black dragon]], [[dark slime]], [[dark slime knight]], [[fallen priest]], [[leopold]], [[rhapthorne]], and [[shadow]] monsters possess the meister trait. The power increase and MP discount is 10%.

Zammmeister has the same properties and possessors as before, as well as the [[dhoulmagus]], [[riptide]], [[skelegon]], [[stark raven]], and [[Wrecktor (Recurring)|wrecktor]] monsters.
