The Words of Wisdom allows any vocation to become a Sage at {{Alltrades Abbey 3}}. The treatise can only be used once, and is found in the [[Tower of Transcendence]]. The 16-bit remake adds another one in [[Rimuldar]]. In the {{NES}} version of the game [[belisha beakon]]s have a 1/2048 chance of dropping the scroll, but this was removed in all other iterations of the game.
