The '''tyrantosaurus''' is a recurring {{MFamilies}} in the {{DQSeries}}. In most of their appearances, they have dull green scales and wield battle axes like their cousins, but in some games the dragons have reddish-orange scales and have traded in their axes for spiked war hammers.

==Characteristics== 
These towering [[Dragon family|reptilian]] tyrants stand well over the top of the tallest man, making them an intimidating sight when encountered deep in the labyrinthine lairs that they love to live in. Their appearance is a cross between a [[Wikipedia:Tyrannosauridae|tyrannosaurid]] and a traditional European dragon. Wielding sharp axes or wicked warhammers, they slice and smack away at any intruders before belching out a '''fiery breath''' to incinerate adventurers. They also often deal out a desperate attack that severely damage opponents, often doing enough to outright knock them out of action. The tyrantosauruses seem to prefer the [[Axe Weapon Family|axe]]s due to sentimental reasons and are more relaxed by it, according to their ''Heroes'' game bestiary descriptions.
