'''Tomokazu Sugita''' (杉田智和, ''Sugita Tomokazu'', born October 11, 1980) is a Japanese voice actor. His first role in the {{DQSeries}} was providing the voice of [[Ishmahri]] of the Moonshadow Land in the [[Nintendo 3DS]] version of {{Dragon Quest VIII}} in 2015. Sugita eventually went on to provide the voice of [[Ragnar McRyan]] starting in ''[[Dragon Quest Heroes II|Dragon Quest Heroes I+II]]'' in 2017, and [[Vince Vanquish]] in the ''Definitive Edition'' of {{Dragon Quest XI}} in 2019, and [[Long John Silverbones]] in {{DQTreasures}} in 2022.

*As a boy, Sugita was a fan of the ''[[Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai]]'' manga and its original anime, in particular being fascinated by the character [[Hyunckel]]'s voice actor, who had a much deeper voice than he imagined.
