It can be purchased for 6000 gold coins and sold for 3000. It can be obtained as a prize in Lucky Panel in the present. Armor shops sell this helmet in [[Buccanham|Buccanham Palace]] -in both the past and the present-, in [[Nottagen]] -in both the past and the present-, in the [[Sea Dragon (sailing vessel)]], and in the [[Divine Shrine]].

The Steel helmet has a {{Defence}} bonus of +14, a {{Style}} bonus of +6, increases the wearer's Weight by 11, and has an equipment level of 14. It can be equipped by [[Warrior]]s, [[Thief|Thieves]], [[Paladin]]s, [[Demon Swordsman|Demon Swordsmen]], [[Pirate]]s, and [[Armamentalist]]s if they have allocated enough points into their Fource skill. In the ''[[Dragon Quest X Offline|Offline]]'' version of the game, it can be equipped by [[Raguas]], [[Hussar]], and [[Duston]].

The entire set consists of the helmet, the full plate armour, steel kneecaps, steel gauntlets, and steel sabatons. If all five pieces are equipped, the wearer gains a +20 bonus to Style and a +5 bonus to Weight.
