Pink Typhoon is a skill in the series. ==Characteristics== Pink Typhoon attacks by sending a pink whirlwind of flower petals at a group of enemies, inflicting wind-elemental damage, with the user themselves usually spinning their body, as well. In nearly all appearances, it is a skill used by female characters, with Dragon Quest X being a notable exception as it is a fan skill that can be used by characters of any gender. ==Appearances== ===DQ8=== Pink Typhoon can be learned by placing 88 skill points into Jessica's Sex Appeal skill. It deals around 70~80 Woosh-element damage to a group of enemies for 5 MP. Notably, Jessica one of the few mage-type characters that can utilise the element. ===DQ10=== Pink Typhoon can be learned by Martial Artists, Minstrels, Sages, Luminaries, Dancers, and Druids by allocating 120 points into the Fan skill. It costs 3 MP to use, has a charge time of 60 seconds, and inflicts 200% Wind damage to enemies within a radius of 8 meters around the user, having a chance to beguile them, as well. The chance to beguile is based on the user's Style, reaching to a total of 75%. * In the Offline version of the game, it can be learned by the Hero 10 as a Martial Artist, Minstrel, Dancer, or Luminary and Fuura through the Fans panel in their character builder for 14 skill points. It is a secret skill for the Hero, requiring at least four of the surrounding panels to be unlocked first. Since it is a weapon skill, it can only be used if a fan is equipped. Mjoll can learn the skill through the Powerful skill in her character builder for 14 skill points, as well. She is able to use it regardless of what weapon she has equipped. The skill costs 25 Tension to use and inflicts Wind-element damage to all enemies based on the user's Attack and has a chance to beguile them, as well. The damage can be increased further through skill up panels. ===DQ11=== Jade can learn Pink Typhoon through the Allure panel on her character builder after it has been expanded in the second act for 18 skill points. It costs 16 MP to use and deals 80~120 Wind-element damage to all enemies with a cap of 140~180 damage, growing with her Charm stat. The skill has a fixed 10% chance to beguile foes for 3~4 turns. Later on, Jade will be able to unlock Pink Tornado for 25 skill points. ===DQSwords=== Known as Moulin Rage in this game, it is a Master Stroke that can be used by the Hero Swords and Fleurette once she reaches level 30. When used, the player will be prompted to spin the Wiimote in a circle until the meter reaches 100, then thrusting. It costs 20 MP to use and inflicts damage to all enemies. ===DQH2=== Pink Typhoon can be learned by Maya for 8 skill points and costs 11 MP. When used, she jumps into the air, creating a pink tornado around herself and putting her into a state where she falls slowly to the ground for ten seconds. ===DQTact=== Pink Typhoon can be learned by Jade at level 53 and costs 68 MP to use. It has a range of two squares in front of the user, and inflicts 240% potency Woosh-type physical damage to all enemies in a range of three squares horizontally and can rarely charm them too. Upgrading the skill increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use. ===DQTreasures=== Pink Typhoon is a skill that can be known by Queen slimes at level 1, and deals Wind-element damage to surrounding enemies for 7 MP. ==In Other Languages== ==Trivia== * Pink Typhoon's name may be a reference to the Japanese pop song "Pink Typhoon" released in 1979 by the duo Pink Lady. The song itself is a cover of the Village People's song "In the Navy", but with lyrics that have nothing to do with the original song. ==Gallery== <center><gallery> DQR Pink Typhoon.png|Rivals card </gallery></center> ==Video== Fleurette's Moulin Rage Master Stroke ==Related skills== *Pink Tornado *Pink Pirouette *Love Typhoon ==References== <references/> clear DQSkills fr:Tornade rose
