A '''Meddle slime''' is a type of {{Slime}} introduced in {{DQMJ2}}, found in both [[Treepidation]] and [[Doubtback]].

==Characteristics==
The interesting thing about the Meddle slime is that, when one first encounters one in the game, one is inclined to think that they have found a [[Metal slime]], for it is virtually indistinguishable from the genuine article. However, the player, thinking they have a chance at racking up high {{Exp}} for killing one, should not get too excited. The Meddle slime, it turns out, is an impostor [[Metal slime]], yielding only normal {{Exp}} upon its defeat. The "yellow-bellies" are difficult to recruit, as they tend to flee as quickly as a real [[Metal slime]], and take offence easily when scouted.
