The '''Hexagoon''' is a monster and boss in {{Dragon Quest IX}}. It is encountered in [[The Hexagon]] after you meet [[Patty]], who is trapped under some debris.

==Characteristics==
The hexagoon is a large, bull-like monster covered in a thick, tough brown hide, with a peach underside, and a yellowish-green mane and tufts of hair around its feet and midsection. It has a pair of curved horns which it uses in charging attacks and it can bring down rubble to try burying its opponents alive. Its name is a play on "The Hexagon", where it resides, and the word "goon".
