The ferocious fangs are exclusive to monsters in their debut appearance, with every slime buddy save for [[Goowain]] being able to ooze them. They can be purchased in [[Greedmore Valley]] for 17,000 or stolen from a [[Drastic drackal]] at a base rate of {{fraction|1|128}} in [[Gallows Moor]]. They provide +73 attack and +25 style when equipped, and the 1/6th paralysis chance will activate with the [[Dragon Slash|dragon slash]], [[Double-Edged Slash|double-edged slash]], [[Flame Slash|flame slash]], [[frenzy]], [[Gust Slash|gust slash]], [[hatchet man]], [[Kacrackle Slash|kacrackle slash]], [[Lightning Slash|lightning slash]], [[Mercurial Thrust|mercurial thrust]], [[Metal Slash|metal slash]], [[Multifists|multifists]] (each hit), [[Multislash|multislash]], & [[Undead Undoer|undead undoer]] skills.

The fangs can be purchased for 17,000 in [[Buccanham]], and can only be equipped by the wild child [[Ruff]]. It provides the same attack, style, and chance to paralyze foes as in ''VI''.

==Trivia==
The [[Summon]]s [[Deago]] and [[Blamara]] use the ferocious fangs as their weapons, giving them the same paralysis-inflicting chance as a normal character. Because the latter uses [[Falcon Slash]], [[Multislice]], and [[Sword Dance]], it is very common to see enemies go stiff when he is summoned.
