The '''Dragon slime''' is a recurring monster in the {{DQSeries}}. Introduced in {{DQ7}}, it is a stronger blue version of the [[Drake slime]].

==Characteristics==
Like [[Drake slime]]s, Dragon slimes are {{Slime}}s that carry a few traits of dragons, namely a crest, wings, and a tail. They are blue in color.

They essentially possess the same traits as drake slimes, having some draconic qualities contained in a {{Slime}} form, but of a superior strength, such as being able to breathe harsher fire than [[Drake slime]]s can. As of {{X}}, the species has been given access to ice breath abilities to differentiate it from its pallet swap, which continued in {{XI}} where it lives in the frozen north of the game and exclusively uses cold attacks.
