The '''Con Cave''' (formerly '''Cave of Betrayal''') is a cave dungeon far to the east of [[Casabranca]] and the [[Last Chance Saloon]].

==Detail==
In order to progress through the cave, it is necessary to have at least two people as there are barriers and gates that can't be traversed alone.

The cave's magic separates travelers soon after they enter, tormenting them with {{MFamilies}}s disguised as their fellow travelers, then, without warning, brings them together. Most groups then kill each other out of paranoia.

==Story==
The {{Hero 4}}, [[Meena Mahabala]] and [[Maya Mahabala]] enter this cave in hopes of finding out what happened to [[Hank Hoffman Jr.]] as much as to find the treasure in the cave.

Soon after they enter, {{Meena}} and {{Maya}} fall into pits, leaving the {{Hero 4}} to fend for him/herself. Going down some stairs, he/she finds and follows what appear to be his/her companions, but they are actually a pair of [[Frolicker]]s that attack. After the enemies are defeated, the {{Hero 4}} falls into a pit and sees what appear to be his/her companions being chased by demons. Speaking to them or trying to leave results in a boss battle with 2 [[Tricksy|Tricksies]] and 2 [[Vampire bat]]s.

After this battle, the {{Hero 4}} follows the path further and finds what appear to be his/her companions but... no, this really is {{Meena}} and {{Maya}}, but {{Maya}} reveals that the sisters have been tormented by demonic replicas of the {{Hero 4}}, and thinks that they are dealing with another one. {{Meena}} disagrees, however, so {{Maya}} proposes a test, deciding to ask a question only the hero would know, the question being which sister was found gambling at [[Endor]]. When the {{Hero 4}} answers it correctly, she apologises for doubting and the twins rejoin the {{Hero 4}}.

Deeper in the dungeon, the group finds a [[Symbol of faith]], the cavern's only treasure.

*If the {{Hero 4}} does not answer {{Maya}}'s question correctly, she will start to oust him/her for it, only for {{Meena}} to further insist that the {{Hero 4}} is not an impostor. {{Maya}} will then ask the {{Hero 4}} the same question again, and the pattern will repeat until the hero answers correctly.
