'''Clawcerers''' are [[Beast family|moggy]] magicians, related to the lesser spell slingers, [[Meowgician]]. Along with the classic catty spell, '''Frizz''', they can also cast the '''Dazzle''' spell that cause the accuracy of all adventurers to dive, by blinding them with bright magic. '''Clawcerers''' have deep dark blue fur and wear red ragged robes to cover their feline form, although their constantly cat licking gives them away. To amplify their power they carry solid gnarled wooden staves and wear wicked yellow bells hanging around their necks.

As in the previous game, they are able to cast both [[Bang]] and [[Dazzle]] and will attempt to cast [[Kaboom]], but will fail due to their low MP pools. It is possible for players to change the appearance of a [[Meowgician]] monster companion to that of a Clawcerer's with a colour-changing ticket.
