'''Air Strike''' is a recurring skill first introduced in {{DQDai}} as one of the three fundamental skills of the [[Avan]]-style school of spearmanship, and the [[spear]] counterpart of [[Air Slash]]. Focusing light-aligned Aura into their weapon, the user thrusts it at their target to pierce through the power of darkness and disperse it.

After [[Hyunckel]] adopts [[Larhart]]'s spear in place of his old sword, he studies the [[Book of Avan]] and learns that the Hero created versions of his Earth, Sea and Sky techniques for non-sword weapons as well.

Similar to his failed attempts at [[Air Slash]], Hyunckel's clouded spirit initially prevented him from using Air Strike as well; however, after a pep talk from [[Maam]] he managed to execute this technique in order to cut through [[Mystvearn]]'s otherwise impervious Dark Aura.

Air Strike can be learned by [[Dark Armour Spear Hyunckel]] at level 52 and costs 70 MP to use. It has a range of up to three squares away from him in any direction and inflicts 320% [[Woosh]]-type surehit physical damage to a single enemy. Upgrading the skill increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
