==Trivia==
* Anessa and Warwick may be a parallel to {{Dragon Quest XI}}'s [[Hendrik]] and [[Jasper]].
** Both are pairs of knights whom so happen to be the two right-hand-men and close advisors to their Kings (the King of Moonbrooke/[[King Carnelian]])
** Both trained together for a long time before the events of their respective games.
** Out of the pairs, one of the two (Anessa/Jasper) is the tactician and one (Warwick/Hendrik) is the swordsman.
** One (Warwick/Jasper) betrays their kingdom (Moonbrooke/[[Heliodor]]) due to feeling unheard by their peers (Warwick's pleas for the King; Jasper's envy for Hendrik's glory) and promises from the monsters (the [[Wrecktor]]/[[Mordegon]]), eventually turning into a monster with grey skin and wings (a [[silvapithecus]]/[[Jasper Unbound]]).
** This traitor is mentioned to advise their King to pursue a course of action that detriments their kingdom (not technically true in the case of Jasper).
** The two in the pairs also parallel each-other. For Hendrik and Jasper, they represent yin and yang, with Hendrik's armour being black and Jasper's being silver. For Anessa and Warwick, their original stances on the war are vastly different to their final stance once the traitor is revealed; while Warwick is initially enthusiastic about building and winning the war, he later says that "it matters not who wins this accursed war" and sticking to the values of the Children of Hargon. On the other hand, Anessa initially appears to stick to the Children's beliefs but later reveals that she had always loved building since she was a child. Moreover, Anessa's main colour in her design is red, while Warwick's is blue, which are complementary colours on the colour wheel.
* Warwick may also be a parallel to {{Dragon Quest X}}'s [[Quard]], being visually similar and also turning into an antagonist after fighting alongside the hero. However, unlike Quard, Warwick does not redeem himself.
* After the events of the main game, completing all 45 [[Tablet Targets]] and completing all [[explorer's shores]] checklists, the player is able to bring [[Molly]] to the Isle of Awakening. In one of her dialogue lines, she mentions that she once saw a silvapithecus that was half human. It is unknown when exactly she saw this, but it is possible that it could have been Warwick as there are no other such cases of humans being so closely tied to monsterhood. How exactly he could have managed to become half-human later down the line is also a mystery.
* When Warwick dies, the text that appears above his head reads "All my plans...ruined...". This is quite curious, as he has already completed all of his missions that were assigned to him. His "plans" could presumably have been to live forever as a monster (although that doesn't explain why he chose to fight the soldiers and risk death), as monsters seem to be able to outlive humans in terms of the aging process. For this reason, it is unlikely that monsters are able to actually respawn (other than those in the [[Undead family]]), and also because of how Anessa ([[Khrumbul-Dun|and]] [[Malhalla|others]]) perceive monsters' deaths as irreversable.
*The particles produced by Warwick upon death are much more prominent than that of the Wrecktor and other monsters, and the sound produced is much different.
