====Strategy====
Maribel naturally has the lowest max HP, Strength, and Resilience growth of the party. She will not be dealing high damage until she reaches {{Alltrades Abbey 7}} where she can change her vocations. She can, however, equip whips which deal successive damage to groups of enemies. Conversely, she has high MP which makes her better suited to spellcasting vocations like [[Mage]] and [[Priest]]. It should be noted that this will make her more susceptible to harm, so she should always be situated in the back row. The Nintendo 3DS version of the game added [[Bang]] to her repertoire of spells she can learn naturally, increasing her usefulness early in the game by helping her clear out groups of enemies.

She can equip knives, wands, and whips as her weapons and wear robes, dresses, and other lightweight clothing, along with hats and a limited selection of shields. Late in the game, she will even be able to equip the powerful [[Metal king sword]]. Since her Agility growth is second only to [[Ruff]]'s, she makes a great choice to act as designated healer by giving her items like the [[Salvation stone]] and the [[Staff of salvation]]. 

Maribel temporarily leaves the party after the events of Nottagen, Providence, and Hubble. Because of this, when the player gets her back after defeating the Demon King the first time, she will likely fall behind the rest of the party. To assuage this, the player should get her some better equipment from [[Buccanham]] or the [[Divine Shrine]] to get her back up to speed when she rejoins.
