The Metal wing boomerang has an {{Attack}} bonus of +90 (+70 in the Japanese version) and can be equipped by the {{Hero 8}}, as well as [[Morrie]] in the Nintendo 3DS version. Like all boomerangs, it targets all enemies when attacking and is guaranteed to inflict 1-2 damage on {{Metal slime}}s. It can only be made using the [[Alchemy Pot]]. However, one of the drawbacks to making the boomerang is that one has to sacrifice their Metal king spear, as there is only one in the game. This is rectified in the Nintendo 3DS version, as another [[Metal king spear]] can be found in [[Memories Lane]].
*The smartphone and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game also introduced the ability to turn the boomerang back into the metal king spear with the Alchemy Pot.
