Brighten rocks can be purchased from the roving emporium at [[the Snærfelt]] for 770 gold coins each or received from sparkly spots in the [[Viking Hideout]], the [[Dundrasil Region]], the [[Gallopolis - Whale Way Station]], [[the Battleground]], and [[the Eerie Valley]]. They can also be dropped by [[Luminous lampling]]s, [[Cosmic chimaera]]s, and [[Snowgre]]s. The rocks can be sold for 192 gold each or can be used in the following [[List of fun-size forge recipe book locations in Dragon Quest XI|recipe]]s for the [[Fun-Size Forge]]:
