The Ice Cave and the monster medal system have been removed from the HD version of the game, with Grand Dragon being relocated to the new [[Temple of Trials]]. The method of unlocking the final bonus dungeon remains the same, however.

Defeating Grand Dragon within 20 turns yields no reward beyond his complimenting the player and the [[Grand Medal]], an item that only serves as a bragging right.

Unlike [[Xenlon]], Grand Dragon has a lower resistance to Confusion than Sleep, making it a better ailment to inflict on him if going for [[Persecutter]] for high damage.
