====Final Showdown====
In the remakes, Aamon resurfaces in {{DQ4 Chapter 6}} as the true final boss, having somehow survived his run-in with the Hero at [[Nadiria]] to assume control of Diabolic Hall. He has used the secret of evolution to take on a more powerful form and has taken the name of '''Ashtaroth''' to signify his self-appointed rank. However, this name is only revealed in Psaro's [[Party Chat]] dialogue in Diabolic Hall. Much like [[Psaro the Manslayer]], he has several forms:
