"Moonbrooke" can be split into the words "Moon" and "brooke", "brooke" meaning "water" or "small stream". In latin-based languages' translations, this is literal, while in character-based languages this is phonetic.
*In the official guide book for the [[SFC]] version, {{Translation|"brooke"|ブルク|buruku}} is instead interpreted as "burg", meaning "a town or city" in English and "castle" in German. However, this translation has not been used since, and the correct localisation should be "Moonbrooke".
