Editing The Stranger (section)

==Story==
The [[Orgodemir|Demon King]] sent the Stranger to the town of Gröndal in order to befoul the town's water supply. When the party first arrives on the island, the village is in a dire situation as everyone has been cursed. The strange poison causes the townspeople to believe that each one of them is the Demon King. The Mayor, who is one of the only people whose mind hasn't been completely affected by the poison, asks the party to visit the elf girl living at the base of the sacred tree of Ygg to the north of town in order to warn her about the grim situation. However, when the party arrives at her residence, she is in a deep sleep and can't seem to wake her up. They decide to return back to town and inform the Mayor, but on the way back they run into a group of villagers heading to Ygg in order to cut it down, with the mysterious cloaked stranger trailing behind.

The group then heads back to the tree to find the brainwashed townspeople attempting to hack down the tree and the elf girl having awoken from her slumber attempting to stop them. They attack the girl and then try to stop the party, as well. The villagers, each believing that they are the Demon King, try to cast spells of fearsome power at the party, but none of them have magic power of any kind. The Stranger then eggs them on to continue hacking down the tree while he attacks the party himself. He is no match for them and is quickly defeated, retreating back to the town afterwards.

The party helps the elf girl back to her hut and she informs them that the Demon King has poisoned the well's waters and it is severely harming her. She gives the party the pixie pitcher and asks them to catch some Dew of Life from the leaves of Ygg in order to remove the evil curse affecting the townspeople. The party also takes gives some of the dew to the Mayor and he begins to feel better with just a few drops of the dew. However, the Stranger is one step ahead of the party and prevents any access to the well by having the villagers block the way. The Mayor informs the party that the well is connected to an underground waterway that they can use to bypass the Stranger and the villagers. Back at Ygg, the elf girl tells them that there is an entrance to the waterway through the [[Roots of Ygg]], which is located at the base of the tree, but it will be a perilous journey since it is filled with monsters.

At the end of the waterway, the party finds a [[Well wisher]] and a group of monsters splashing unholy water into Gröndal's water supply. The monster notices the Dew of Life in their possession and attacks them, but they are able to defeat the foul monster. They then pour the dew into the water supply and its effects begin working immediately. The evil influence is lifted from the townspeople and the holy power of Ygg causes great pain to the Stranger. The cloaked villain begins lashing out in rage when he realizes his plans have gone awry, threatening to burn the entire village down. In a puff of smoke, he sheds his cloak and reveals his true form as a Fighting batboon.
