==Appearances== ===DQ2=== The Prince of Cannock sets out to aid his cousin, the Prince of Midenhall, when word of the sacking of Moonbrooke castle reaches him. Unfortunately, the Prince does not stay in one place for long and leads the player on a wild goose chase until meeting up with him at the inn of Leftwyne. Later in the game in all versions besides the NES original, the prince becomes ill after staying at the inn in Beran. The other heroes can travel to a small island with a single tree tile upon it and retrieve a Yggdrasil leaf in order to cure him and continue adventuring, or may leave him behind. Doing such only slightly affects the ending of the game, where the prince's dialogue bemoans how awful his luck is. ====Stats==== SFC & GBC versions {| style="width:65%; height:100px; text-align:center" border="1" |-<---!Headings are up first.!---> style="font-weight:bold; background:#4CB141" | Attribute || Starting Stats || Maximum Stats |- style="font-weight:normal" | Level || 1 || 45 |- | HP || 31 || 200 |- | MP || 6 || 160 |- | Strength || 4 || 140 |- | Agility || 4 || 140 |- | Resilience || 2 || 64 |- | Initial gear ||colspan=2|Oaken club, Leather armour |} Smartphone and Nintendo Switch {| style="width:65%; height:100px; text-align:center" border="1" |-<---!Headings are up first.!---> style="font-weight:bold; background:#4CB141" | Attribute || Starting Stats || Maximum Stats |- style="font-weight:normal" | Level || 1 || 50 |- | HP || 31 || 208 |- | MP || 6 || 191 |- | Strength || 4 || 180 |- | Agility || 4 || 152 |- | Resilience || 2 || 121 |- | Initial gear ||colspan=2|Oaken club, Leather armour |} clear ====Spells==== {| style="width:65%; height:100px; text-align:center" border="1" |-<---!Headings are up first.!---> style="font-weight:bold; background:#4CB141" | Level Learned || Original Japanese || Dragon Quest II || MP || Description |- style="font-weight:normal" | 1 || ホイミ Hoimi || Heal || 3 || A simple healing spell. |- | 3 || ギラ Gira || Sizz || 2 || A small fireball attacks one enemy. |- | 6 || キアリー Kiarii || Squelch || 3 || Cures Poison. |- | 8 || マホトーン Mahotoon || Fizzle || 3 || Try to block the enemies' spell. |- | 10 || ルーラ Ruura || Zoom || 6 || Return to the town where you last saved. |- | 12 || リレミト Riremito || Evac || 6 || Exit a cave or dungeon with this spell. |- | 14 || ベホイミ Behoimi || Midheal || 5 || A stronger form of Heal. |- | 17 || トラマナ Toramana || Safe Passage || 4 || Walk safely over barriers. |- | 18/23 || ベギラマ Begirama || Sizzle || 4 || This fire spell affects a group of enemies. |- | 20/25 || スクルト Sukuruto || Kabuff || 2 || This spell will increase your Defense power. |- | 23/27 || ザラキ Zaraki || Thwack || 4 || Try to extinguish the lifeforce of an enemy. |- | 25/29 || ザオリク Zaoriku || Kazing || 15 || Bring an ally back to life; but only with 1 HP. |- | 28/35 || メガンテ Megante || Kamikazee || 1 || Caster gives up his life to kill all enemies. |} clear ====Equipment==== The Prince of Cannock can equip a wide variety of weapons and armor, though not as many as the Prince of Midenhall, nor as potent.
