==Appearances== ===DQ4=== Kazapple is learned by the Hero 4 at level 37 and deals 330~350 Lightning damage to one foe, requires 15 MP from every party member to cast. As such, it cannot be used if Alena, Ragnar McRyan, or Torneko Taloon are in the Party 4. ===DQ5=== Kazapple is learned by Parry at level 38, and by the Conkuistador R at level 60. It costs every party member 10 MP to cast but as Tuppence is the only human character to lack MP the requirements are much less strict for most party configurations. Because Parry cannot equip the duplic hat in the SFC version, the spell cannot be echoed. ===DQ6=== Kazapple is learned by reaching rank 8 of the Hero vocation, the Legend. The power has been double to 600~700 and costs every party member 10 MP as in before. Unlike in V, all human characters gain MP and thus the player is not limited by his or her party configuration. Kazapple has the quickest activation speed of any ability in the game, activating before Kaclang and Forbearance. The spell will only echo with the duplic hat in the original SFC version. ===DQ7=== Kazapple has all the parameters of the previous game, but due to the presence of powerful skills such as Blade of Ultimate Power it is sub-optimal to use in battle. ===DQ10=== γγγγ€γ³ appears briefly during the story of the fourth expansion of the game. startKazapstrophe is used by the protagonist in version 5.5+ to defeat the Great Source of Darkness, Jagonuba. To perform this spell, the protagonist receives the power of all living beings on the planet (from residents of Astoltia, Nadragand and Netherworld) thanks to the help of Goddess Luciana. Once the energy is gathered, the survivor of Tenton uses Kazapstrophe with the help of all their summoned allies like Anlucia, Shaka, Estelle or Valeria. The massive spell fulminates Jagonuba, killing him on the spot. end ===DQ11=== Kazapstrophe marks the first appearance of the γγγγ€γ³ spell after a 17 year absence, and is learned by the Hero as per tradition. Rather than requiring MP as before, the spell needs all four casters to be pepped up, and the Hero must already know Kazap. The power is dependent on the sum of the party's magical might. The spell starts out dealing 690~750 lightning damage to all foes, and starts increasing in power once the sum of the participants magical might reaches 527, peaking at dealing 1410~1470 damage when the total magical might of the users reaches 1986. * The numbers 527 and 1986 are a clever reference to the publishing date of the quest that started it all: May twenty-seventh, 1986. An evil version of the spell is used by Calasmos during the final battle, known as Chaotic Kazapstrophe. ===DQMJ2P=== γγγγ€γ³ was added in the Professional version of the game. It drains the entire party's MP and is only marginally stronger than γΈγ΄γγ€γ³, but the allies of the caster can act while the spell is used and thus has much greater utility than in previous games. ===Terry's Wonderland 3D & Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key=== The spell has been tweaked so that Large-sized monsters can cast it by themselves. ===DQMSL=== Stub ===Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road=== γγγγ€γ³ has two versions, one for the Luminaries of the Legendary line seen in DQ2 and another for the Chosen of DQ4. In first version the three cousins are shown entering the scene by riding upon Empyrea's back, with the Prince of Midenhall channeling the power of the thunderbolt blade to contribute. There are two versions of the latter for the male and female Hero 4, with Healie aiding Ragnar by donating his MP. Psaro C is also present in the group, but refuses to assist and merely observes.
