Orc king appears as an A-rank monster of the [[Beast family]] as part of the original ''Dragon Quest II'' event, appearing on both [[Prince of Cannock|Rickerd]] and [[Princess of Moonbrooke|Peronel]]'s banners. The orc king can also participate in [[Madusa]]'s Battle Road as a party member. Starting with Version 4.0, it can be scouted normally from any banner, including the Regular SP Scout.
