There are two variations of Hellish Howl in the game that are used by various bosses and other monsters in high-level stages. The first costs 112 MP to use, inflicts major martial damage to all units in a radius of 1 around the user, and has a chance to [[confusion|confuse]] them, as well.

The second variation is a skill used by both [[Orgodemir|Demon King Orgodemir]] and [[Rhapthorne|Rhapthorne's True Form]] during their Mega Boss Battles. It inflicts major unreflectable martial damage to all enemies in the two first two rows in front of the stage, knocks them back three spaces, and has a chance to lower their DEF for three turns and confuse them.
