==Animal Crossing characters==
*Villager - The player character from the life-simulation series of games ''Animal Crossing''.  The character can be unlocked by:
**Going through VS Matches, with Villager being the 6th character to unlock, or Classic Mode with Pikachu.  After either condition is met, they must be defeated in the Smashville.
**Recruiting them at the Starting Area in the World of Light - players have the option to choose between them, Sheik, and Marth.

*Isabelle - Secretary to the town's mayor in ''Animal Crossing: New Leaf''.  Made her ''SSB'' debut in the 3DS/Wii U installments of ''Smash'', before being upgraded to a playable character in ''Ultimate''.  The character can be unlocked by:
**Going through VS Matches, with Isabelle being the 21st character to unlock, or Classic Mode with Pikachu and those in its unlock tree up to Mega Man.  After either condition is met, she must be defeated on Town and City.
**Recruiting her at the Eastern Town in the World of Light.
