Known as '''rose-root''' in this game, it will restore around 70 HP to a single party member. One can be found in a pot the [[Herb Grotto]], although most will be made in the [[Alchemy Pot]]. In the original Sony PlayStation 2 version, rose-roots can be sold for 118 gold each for the first 5 sold, reduces to 83 gold for the 6th to 10th sold, then drops even further to 36 gold each from the 11th sold onward. In the Nintendo 3DS version, rose-root can only be sold for 80 gold each for the first 5 sold, 56 gold for the 6th to 10 sold, then only 24 gold each for the 11th onward.

It can be created two different ways in the Alchemy Pot and can also be used to create an even stronger restorative item:
