Seashells can be collected from [[Stornway (region)|Eastern Stornway]] and [[Hermany]], dropped by [[Spinchilla]]s and [[Crabber dabber doo]]s, or found randomly in the fountain at a fully upgraded [[Quester's Rest]]. It can be sold for 34 gold. Seashell is used in the following alchemy recipes:

Sun-bleached seashell can be purchased from the item shop at [[Nautica]] for 340 gold and sold for 85 gold. It can also be picked up from sparkly spots at [[the Strand]] and [[Insula Occidentalis]] or dropped by [[Khalamari kid]]s, [[Shell slime]]s, and [[Otter shambles]]es, as well as their vicious counterparts. Additional seashells can be found in barrels at [[Gondolia]] and [[Lonalulu]]. Sun-bleached seashell is only used in two [[List of fun-size forge recipe book locations in Dragon Quest XI|recipe]]s for the [[Fun-Size Forge]]:
