Sparkly sap can be purchased from [[L'Académie de Notre Maitre des Médailles]] for 400 gold, picked up from sparkly spots at [[the Emerald Coast]], [[the Costa Valor]], the [[Dundrasil Region]], the [[Sniflheim Region]], and the [[Path to Trial Isle]], or can be received as a prize for playing poker at the [[casino]] in [[Puerto Valor]] or [[Octagonia]]. It can be sold for 100 gold.

It can be sold for 1,000 gold. The sap can be used in the quick recipe for the [[Ace of spoils]] or for creating [[Venus' tear]] with the [[Alchemy Pot]]. Three phials of sparkly sap are required to complete Quest #78: To Bag a Better Butterfly.
