The spear can only be made in the [[Alchemy Pot]] and can be used to create a [[Ring of truth]]. It can be sold for 4,700 gold. It can also be given to [[Dodgy Dave]] in [[Pickham]] in exchange for a [[Happy hat]] one time.

It can be equipped by a [[Priest]], [[Martial Artist]], [[Paladin]], [[Item Master]], or [[Guardian (vocation)|Guardian]]. When used as a tool in battle, it attempts to envelop a single enemy in illusions. The spear can be crafted by a weapon blacksmith. Starting with Version 6.2, the amount of materials required to make one were reduced, making it easier to craft. Previously, it required six lumps of [[Silver ore]], four handfuls of [[Glass frit]], two bags of [[Kitty litter]], and two [[Faerie flame|Faerie flames]].

The Sandstorm Spear is a 3★ Earth-elemental spear with an {{Attack}} bonus of +51 at level 1. Its [[Coup de Grâce]] is Hellstorm and its Enchantment is Dust Devil. Its starting Boon is Attack +5 for [[Priest]] characters. It can be acquired randomly from any transmuter, including the 3★ Weapon Guaranteed Transmuter that can be rerolled as many times as desired.

The Sandstorm spear is a 3★ spear with a Physical Attack bonus of +63 at level 35. It can be equipped by the [[Luminary Leader]] as a [[Hero (vocation)|Hero]], [[Hyunckel (A Hero's Bonds)|Hyunckel]] in his Dark Armour Spear or Summer Style, or [[Larhart]]. It comes equipped with Spear Trait I Lv. 3, which raises the user's Thrust damage by 6%. It could be acquired by playing during the A Loyal Land Rider's Pledge limited event. During the event, it was also equipped with Spear Trait II Lv. 5, which would grant the player 50 extra Silver and Gold Larhart Tokens during the event.
