==Overview== Each villager {{DQB2}} has preferences for their assigned room: size, fanciness level, and room ambience. Each named npc has a set preference, while npcs scouted in Explorer's Shores are randomized. While animals and monsters do not show their preference residents register, they do have preferences as well. The size, fanciness level and ambience types can be checked in the room info panel, visible by pressing the minus (-) button while inside the room on Switch, the view (two overlapping squares) button on Xbox, the Touch Pad on a PS controller and the 'M' key on PC. Making 5 rooms that perfectly match the room preference of the residents who live there will unlock the Emblematic Clock recipe.
